Lightning cleaves the sky. High above, a vast city emerges from the clouds. Is it the ancient temple-city of Mitosu? Has the Veiled Emperor returned?

This starting adventure has players venturing into a ruined tower that fell from the mysterious city in the sky, crashing into the remote mountain valley of Glynmoor. Explore the charming town of Squabville, subdue the restless spirits awakened by the floating city, and discover the secrets of the fallen sky ruin.

Fragments of the Floating City is an old-school compatible adventure for character levels 1-2. It’s been designed for the Worlds Without Number system but would be easily adaptable to your OSR game of choice.

Nice, overall! Reasonably well laid out, great art, very usable. Also, love the implied inspo from a certain Ghibli movie... Just for a bit of feedback, I'd have made a few changes:

1) If you spread out the town locations across the map instead of having them all in one place, you have more excuses the players to go into the wilderness, which is fun in my opinion. Maybe one of the inns is in the middle of the woods and gives lodging for travellers/hunters; maybe the bathhouse is built on some hot-springs away from the village, and the players can make the journey there in order to seek a cure for their ailments...

2)For the dungeon, the fact that the staircases from floors 1-2 and 2-3 are lined up with each other means you can, in theory, just skip floor 2. It is less realistic? Certainly. But it's a dungeon, the whole premise barely makes sense.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it. For the stairs, I wanted the tower itself to be playable in one session so I didn't want to put too many roadblocks in the parties way. If they want to bypass the second floor, that's their loss 😊
